We are a Turkish company called Türkiye Photonics, specializing in research, development and technology. Although we are a relatively small company, we have very strong R&D and technology capabilities. We are involved in both research and development and the development and production of our own products. Our main areas of activity can be divided into three categories: electro-optical systems, thermal imaging cameras and infrared night vision systems.
Our solutions can generally be divided into three main groups. The first includes systems mounted on various platforms. The second includes systems mounted directly on weapons and helmets, as well as portable devices that can be carried by the user. The third group consists of products designed for border security.
At the exhibition in Baku, we are presenting products from all three of these areas. In particular, our stand features a 360-degree situational awareness system. It improves the driver's field of view, enhances the situational awareness of the vehicle commander, and also increases the situational awareness of personnel inside the vehicle. We also have a system called OPRAT, which does not emit any active signal and operates solely through the capabilities of its cameras. In terms of its functionality, it works similarly to a radar. It can be used with both thermal imaging and daylight cameras. Another one of our new products is a helmet-mounted system based on image fusion technology and a low-power light source. It is a highly sophisticated and comprehensive solution. When using the device, the operator can simultaneously observe a target using both thermal imaging and low-power light cameras, both at night and during the day. One of the key features of this product is that the user can see their own coordinates directly through the device, as well as the direction and azimuth of the target they are observing. Our latest product is a night vision device that is also capable of target tracking. In addition, our stand features sights that can be remotely controlled and used together with the weapon systems of platforms such as tanks. Recently, drone cameras have also become increasingly important around the world, and we are working in this area as well. We currently manufacture our own thermal imaging cameras for tactical-level applications and for use on mini-UAVs.
We are in contact with official institutions in Azerbaijan. Representatives of the Azerbaijan Defence Industry Agency have visited our company. They saw our facilities and products and were very impressed with what they saw. We have received high-level visitors, and they have expressed their interest in potential joint cooperation and projects in Azerbaijan in the future. We are very pleased with this. The main reason for our participation in this exhibition is to contribute to the capabilities of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and security forces. First of all, we want to strengthen our contacts with them. In addition, delegations from other Turkic states attending the exhibition are also very important to us. Through ADEX, we hope to meet new delegations and establish new business contacts.
