On September 8, the 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition ADEX, which brought together more than 200 companies from 26 countries, completed its work at the Baku Expo Center.
The exhibition occupied three pavilions, and an open area of the Baku Expo Center and attracted attention of thousands of specialists, experts, heads of departments of military profile.
The pivotal event, emphasising the importance of the exhibition, was the visit of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, whose greeting to the participants was read out at the opening ceremony of ADEX by the Minister of Defence Industry Madat Guliyev.
The head of the state visited all major stands of foreign countries, as well as domestic expositions, noting the relevance of modern weapons and military equipment for the defence capability of Azerbaijan.
Characteristically, along with the strategic superiority of Azerbaijan in the heroic victory in the Second Karabakh War, experts and analysts stressed the importance of the combat equipment of our army, the professional, most effective use of weapons in battles with the aggressor.
Among the exhibitors are the leading defense industry companies from Bulgaria, Italy, China, France, the Netherlands and other countries. Companies from Jordan took part in the exhibition for the first time.
Belarus, Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey and other countries participated with their national stands.
Aircraft and aviation systems, naval systems, radio-electronic and unmanned systems, military uniforms and equipment, weapons and ammunition, and much more aroused attracted interest of the visitors.
Thus, the ADEX exhibition will become an excellent platform for demonstrating the latest weapons and concluding new contracts in the field of international military-technical cooperation.
Azerbaijani and foreign representatives of the army, navy and air force took part in the 4th Defence and Security Conference. Bilateral meetings were also held between the exhibitors and representatives of international delegations, as well as relevant structures of Azerbaijan.
The exhibition was held on the initiative and with the organisational support of the Ministry of Defence Industry and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Simultaneously with ADEX, the Baku Expo Center hosted the 13th International Exhibition Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment (Securex Caspian).
