Integrated systems that can monitor cargo, detect potential threats and provide radiation screening are becoming increasingly important. This is exactly the type of technology offered by South Korean company BONTECH, which specialises in explosive detection technologies and radiation monitoring equipment.
The system presented here combines a detector and radiation monitoring equipment in a single integrated solution and can be used for cargo inspection, at airports, in the transportation sector and in other areas. South Korea is one of the leading countries in this field. Israel is also well known for its radiation monitoring technologies, but the South Korean solution offers several advantages. In particular, the software and hardware are integrated into a single comprehensive system. As a result, the South Korean product is approximately 50% less expensive than comparable solutions.
BONTECH operates in the medical sector and also manufactures radiation and aviation equipment. Over the past two days, we have attracted interest from representatives of Sudan, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Iraq and other countries. High-level government representatives, including ministers, military officials and representatives of defence authorities, have also visited the exhibition. They showed significant interest in the technologies we presented.
Discussions are currently continuing, and any further decisions regarding potential cooperation will be made during subsequent negotiations.
