Barzan Holdings as the commercial arm of the Ministry of Defense of Qatar was established in 2016 to serve mainly Qatar’s armed forces as well as international markets. We are investing in different ventures and subsidiaries to produce various products and services such as small arms and ammunition up to high technology projects such as counter-drone solutions. Here at this exhibition we are presenting the ammunition theme including small arms, bigger products like rifles, ammunition from small to medium in caliber as well as software for an ordering system powered by AI to manage ammunition inventory. It is very important for us to participate and explore new markets such as Azerbaijan. It is our first participation in ADEX. We are committed to this market – we have invested in one of the local companies with which we have a joint venture. Moreover, the Eurasian market is very interesting for us. We have already attracted many potential clients from the region, have conducted many meetings and have had productive interactions with different delegations, which will hopefully be translated into contracts very soon. This exhibition has been helpful above our expectations in achieving our local objectives.
