- In my professional capacity, I make an effort to keep track of exhibitions—both international and local. The main objective when attending these events is to understand the outcomes of changes occurring in military affairs and to outline the future of warfare, technology development, and the defense industry. Gaining this understanding largely happens at events like ADEX.

I was pleased to notice the difference between ADEX 2022 and ADEX 2024. This difference is primarily reflected in the greater number of innovations presented by the domestic defense industry. Azerbaijan is well-positioned to analyze and adapt to innovations in military technological progress. We are among the first countries to collaboratively produce drones with Israel. Currently, our advancements in the production of anti-tank and lightweight anti-personnel drones remain at a high level. Alongside developed countries, we are also creating combat laser weapons and are making efforts to access the production of precision-guided munitions. All of this is indeed impressive.

Regarding the ADEX exhibition, I can say the following: each exhibition has its unique character and reflects the country’s affiliation with various military schools. Exhibitions held in NATO member states, Israel, Turkey, China, or Russia and Belarus are significantly different from ours. ADEX has successfully managed to unify all these directions, underscoring the universality of the Baku exhibition. Its importance for all representatives of our country’s defense sector is undeniable. It enables specialists to enhance their analysis of the processes shaping the future of military affairs and the defense industry.
