At this 2nd edition of ADEX defense exhibition, being held until Sept. 30 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the South Africa-based defense company Paramount Group is highlighting advanced infantry combat vehicles capabilities with its Mombe 6x6, Matador and Marauder 4x4 vehicles.
The Mbombe 6 represents the pinnacle of land system technologies and can be modified to serve as either a combat vehicle or an armored personnel carrier. The vehicle was developed to meet the increasing demand for multi-role, high mobility and mine hardened platforms, and for the changing demands of the global battlefield. The vehicle is prized for its sophisticated adaptability, unparalleled protection and affordability.
According to user requirements a variety of turret systems up to 30mm caliber ranging from overhead weapon stations to one man turret systems can be integrated on the Mbombe 6.
One of the key features of the Mbombe 6 is that 80% of its technologies and components are shared with the wider Mbombe family, including the 4 X 4 and the 8 X 8, presenting significant cost benefits due to greater efficiencies and significant savings in maintenance and logistical support.
